Weather

In general, the weather on the island is warm and sunny. So, BVI crewed yacht charter guests can expect a smooth sailing trip through the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Most rain occurs from September to December, with hurricane season from June to November.

Places to See on Peter Island

  • Deadman’s Beach. A mile-long crescent of paradise. It has pristine sand, palm trees, and water that is perfect for snorkeling and sunbathing.
  • Sprat Bay. It has a natural beauty that will make guests want to linger under a coconut palm and enjoy the solitude.

Tortola, the capital of the BVI, has the closest airport to this island. Beef A small bridge connects Beef Island So, be sure to add this place to your BVI yacht charter itinerary.

Other information about Peter Island BVI

In 1978, the island was owned by the Devos family of the Amway Corporation. However, full ownership was transferred to the co-owner of the corporation in 2021. Thus, a family owns Peter Island Resort.

Many interested guests are curious, is Peter Island open? Due to Hurricane Irma, this paradise has to suspend operations. But, they are working on its reopening, especially to BVI yacht charter guests.
