Growing up in sunny California, Brian began his love affair with the water at a young age. Born and raised in Carmel-by-the-Sea, he spent his childhood summers on lakes learning all about powerboats. There he was exposed to sailing as a teenager and was immediately hooked after graduating from Californian State University at Chico with a major in Hospitality and Special Events. Brian then moved to San Diego to be closer to the water. And then, after spending several years sailing on the weekends, Brian decided to quit the software sales life. At this point, he could pursue a career in maritime adventure.
Over the years, Captain Brian has had extensive experience chartering on power boats ranging from 40-70 ft long (Caribbean Sea). And on sailboats for longer voyages (Irish Sea). Whether it’s cruising around near shore or far away sea explorations. You will find every guest is safe under the Captain’s watchful eye whether they’re above or below decks!

Born on the Caribbean island of St. Thomas, Nicole was raised around boating and water-based activities. After graduating from Wake Forest University, she spent several years traveling and working aboard boats before settling in Medellin. Here she spends most of her time running Verve Sano. Of which is an artisanal food company that sells products online and in-store throughout South America. Her passions include gardening, yoga, and meditation but she will always find time for some boating or sailing!
Our family had such a memorable week on the MAHASATTVA. The yacht is exquisite in its beauty but what makes it exceptional is the crew who quickly became wonderful friends. Captain Magnus, Chef Jayde, First Mate Ian – you couldn’t have been more accommodating, the sail was wonderful, the food was exceptional, the coffee and drinks were fantastic.
