Restaurants in Martinique: A’ Table

You will want to check out these great ‘must-not-miss’ restaurants on your next yacht charter vacation in beautiful Martinique.

Beach Restaurant: Le Petibonum

Everything here is original: the place is unique, and the food is simple but innovative. Le Petibonum restaurant, located on Martinique’s west coast, offers excellent food, a peaceful ambiance, and an original location. This bar & restaurant is located on the silver, black beach of Le Carbet. It is one of the top beach restaurants in the Caribbean, ranked the best Caribbean beach bar by the Caribbean Journal.

The little brightly painted rustic bar faces the sea. It forms part of the landscape among the legendary volcano Mont Pelée and the green hills of Morne Vert. The beach is isolated but accessible, and beach equipment is available for your total comfort.

The restaurant is owned and managed by Guy Ferdinand, known as “Chef hot pants.” He usually cooks with the traditional chef’s whites on top. However, he keeps short shorts on the bottom! “You need good legs to pull it off, “he says.

Indulge in exceptional culinary delights like the curried pork Colombo or Chef hot pants’ unforgettable pan-seared “marlin” with Mango chestnuts.

Enjoy excellent French-creole cuisine from local ingredients right on the beach.
