“You Make the Memories, We’ll Make the Arrangements”

7-Day St-Maarten St-Martin Boat Charter Itinerary for a Leeward Island sailing vacation. Moreover, your St-Maarten St-Martin boat charter vacation begins in St Maarten, ventures onto St Barths, St Kitts, Nevis, St Eustatius (Statia), and concludes in St Martin.

Day 1 – St Maarten

Your charter starts in St Maarten’s Simpson Bay, close to the airport. Take advantage of the island’s split nationality by enjoying the abundant duty-free shopping in the Dutch port of Phillipsburg, followed by haute cuisine on St. Martin’s French side. Once on board, venture to the eastern side of the island to Captain Oliver’s Marina at Oyster Pond, a protected lagoon surrounded by hills and with a superb beach. Here you will find a well-stocked supermarket, and you are just a short distance from an impressive choice of bars and restaurants.

Day 2 – St Barths | St-Maarten St-Martin Boat Charter Itinerary

St. Barth’s is a favorite of socialites and celebrities around the world. And known as the Island of Elegance. The designer boutiques are the best here, as are the food, the wine, and the pretty people on this chic, hedonistic aisle. Enjoy windsurfing in the crystal-clear waters or be seen on the beach at the Eden Rock Hotel. Fourteen beaches on St. Barths are blessed with gleaming white sand. Few are crowded, even in peak season.

If you enjoy deep-sea diving, the pleasures of underwater observation are magical at St. Barths. The branch corals are recovered from the last hurricanes, and the massive corals are in full bloom, with multicolored coral fish everywhere. Each bay has a reef to be explored; each islet has its walls and caves. The most spectacular dives are around Pain de Sucre, an islet off Gustavia harbor, or around a small cape, l’Ane Rouge, off Colombier Bay.

Day 3 – St Kitts

Intoxicating natural beauty, sunny skies, warm waters, and white sandy beaches make St. Kitts one of the most seductive spots in the Caribbean. Outdoor sports reign supreme here. Hike through the rainforest-with its alluring flora and fauna-up to Mount Liamuiga’s mile-wide crater or go horseback riding along the beach.

Scuba divers and snorkelers will find hours of delight at Whitehouse Bay. It offers a good anchorage for yachtsmen seeking to anchor boats in calm waters while surrounded by tranquil and beautiful scenery. The presence of numerous reefs and several underwater shipwrecks close to the shore (some of which were uncovered by recent hurricanes) makes Whitehouse Bay an exceptional place.

Indeed, one of these wrecks lies in just three meters of water and thirty-four meters from the beach. Whitehouse Bay is relatively close to some beautiful St Kitts beaches, including Banana Bay and Cockleshell Bay. It is also very close to Shitten Bay, another popular snorkeling site.

Day 4 – St Kitts

Today may be a good day to head ashore for a game of golf at the Royal St Kitts Golf Club, with its 18-hole championship course, redesigned and renovated in 2004. Non-golfers can relax with a soothing treatment at the Emerald Mist Spa in the adjoining St Kitts Marriott Resort, which also features a casino.

Day 5 – Nevis | St-Maarten St-Martin Boat Charter Itinerary

Just a few short miles away is the charming island of Nevis. Nevisians are warm, friendly people who are rightly proud of their country. Charlestown’s capital is a sleepy mid-Victorian Caribbean town, far from the bustling capital centers of other Caribbean islands. Charlestown was the birthplace and childhood home of Alexander Hamilton. The restored stone building, his place of birth, now houses the Museum of Nevis History on the ground floor and the Nevis Island Administration Assembly Room on the upper floor. There are two other museums in Charlestown: the Nelson Museum and the Nevis Sports Museum.

Not a history buff? No problem; on Nevis, you can enjoy excellent windsurfing, fishing, and kayaking or spend the day lounging in the sun on secluded Lovers’ Beach. Didn’t satisfy your golf itch on St. Kitts? No problem, The Four Seasons Resort Nevis is one of the Caribbean’s finest courses, and the restaurants here are top-notch.

Day 6 – St Eustatius (Statia)

Oranjestad is the capital of the small island of St. Eustatius – more commonly known as Statia. This charming town gives a great sense of what life in the Caribbean must have been like in the past. The pace is slow, the people un-hurried, and there are few tourists. Oranjestad has plenty to interest those who like a bit of history. Along the waterfront by the harbor are buildings dating from the colonial era.

Additionally, here you will find the best beach on the island. Among the historical sites of Oranjestad are the 17th-century waterfront Fort Oranje, a synagogue that is the second oldest in the western hemisphere, and a Dutch reformed church dating from 1755. Amongst the most interesting buildings are the restored 18th-century houses of the merchants who made their homes here. Gezaghebber House, the oldest, is the former Lieutenant Governor’s residence. The St. Eustatius Historical Foundation Museum organizes a good walking tour.

Underwater | St-Maarten St-Martin Boat Charter Itinerary

Would you rather spend the day on the water? You’ll love diving in the protected waters off tiny Statia, known for its wrecks and lush coral reefs. Snorkelers will want to explore ruined buildings now submerged on the fringes of the harbor.

Hikers and explorers alike will want to take a guided hike to The Quill. An extinct volcano designated as a National Park, the Quill soars dramatically to a height of 2000 feet. After you have made the ascent to the crater’s rim, catch your breath and relax. Then make your descent into the crater’s floor to a depth of 273 meters above sea level. Explore the verdant lush tropical rainforest nestled within its enormous crater. You will find the interior teems with a variety of unfamiliar plants.

Day 7 – St Martin Itinerary

We recommend Grand Case Beach on St Martin for your last day in your St. Martin boat charter. Grand Case Beach is a sweeping curve of a beautiful, one-mile-long, white sandy beach with relatively calm waters. The beach is fantastic for swimming. In addition, it has some nice snorkeling spots. You have located towards either end of the beach or around the reef at “Créole Rock.” The beach is also home to several beach bars, restaurants, and small hotels. You can also pick up last-minute gifts at the beach-side market square.

Whether deep-sea diving, snorkeling, or on-land sightseeing interests you the most, we will build a St Martin boat charter itinerary to suit your desires.
