Captain (rotational): Caroline Bourdin Nicolas
Caroline’s love for the sea began at an early age, inspired by her father, an airplane pilot with a deep passion for sailing. Growing up, she was fortunate to travel the world, discovering the joys of sailing during family cruises in the West Indies, French Polynesia, and the Mediterranean.
She pursued her studies in management at La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast of France, where she actively participated in regattas on renowned sailing yachts such as TUIGA and MOONBEAM. Caroline then spent a decade organizing events and providing nautical training independently.
Eleven years ago, Caroline decided to follow her lifelong dream of becoming a professional sailor. She obtained all the necessary diplomas and mechanics certificates, embarking on a new career in yachting.
Caroline has accumulated extensive experience working on prestigious vessels, including the Sunreef Supreme MAYRILOU for nearly five years, as well as the Sunreef 70 Eco ONE PLANET and other catamarans. Her broad experience in charters across various regions has equipped her with the perfect skill set to sail with OTOCTONE. Known for her warm-hearted and friendly demeanor, Caroline prioritizes clients' expectations, ensuring safety and creating the best possible atmosphere for an enjoyable cruise on board.

5 years ago, she decided to come in the Yachting Industry and instantly loved this fast paced, ever adapting industry. It has grown her as an individual and reminded her daily of her love for cooking and making her guests happy.
She can utilize her culinary skills and passion for cooking that she learnt from her mum every day and she loves the challenge to make new kind of food every week to please the guests.
