Wild West Gaming Night was an event organized by VISAR or the Virgin Islands Search and Rescue team. VISAR is a vital and dedicated all-volunteer organization. It’s committed to ensuring the safety of both travelers and locals in the British Virgin Islands.
This nonprofit was established to safeguard local BVI waters. They carry out life-saving search and rescue operations. The group is committed to the well-being of the community and maritime safety. Thus, playing an essential role in protecting the BVI marine environment.
So, on November 29, 2014, the team went to CocoMaya Restaurant on Virgin Gorda for the Wild West Gaming Night. The event began at 5:30 p.m., and VISAR had transportation available from Tortola by reservation. They wore outfits and told our CocoMay staff that they had the best party in town on that Saturday.
There was roulette, blackjack, poker, a memorable dance performance, horse racing, and lots of great prizes. There was also a delicious buffet dinner available.
Tickets were $25 and included $10 in chips. Tickets were available at the door or before the event. They purchased advance tickets at CocoMaya BVI and the VISAR Office at Road Reef Marina.
Transportation was available from Tortola. Guests either get $5 off Speedy’s regular ferry.
They can also ride the VISAR organized boat for $20. It comes from Trellis Bay at 4:30 pm or 5:30 pm. Then leave at 12:30 am or 1 am.
Guests loved the all-country vibe of the Love City Country Music Festival on St. Johns in the US Virgin Islands. Caneel Bay Resort presented this exciting event.
