Following our British Virgin Islands Charter Itinerary on day one, we arrived in St. Thomas on Schedule from Ft. Lauderdale at 236PM on Spirit Air. Our flight left on time, the service was ok, the aircraft was clean, and the pilot did a great job with the landing.
He must have been an Air Force grad, as the landing was a grease gun landing. Our baggage came in 15 minutes, and we were at Crown Bay Marina in a short 7 minutes drive. Solitude, our catamaran for the week, was ready and waiting at D dock. It was great seeing Glenn and Christina.
Now we are anchored off Honeymoon beach at Water Island, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, relaxing, listening to Brother Bob Marley, drinking water, and waiting for the sunset before dinner in Frenchtown. How’s that to end our first day following the British Virgin Islands Charter Itinerary?
Being here has not struck me yet. Everyone seems to be winding down. The temperature is so comfortable, in the low 80s, with a cool breeze. It is great to be on the water. I miss it.
