After all, you have been in communication many times lately. Moreover, the crew is aware of your expectations now. After a brief safety meeting, you will sail for about 2 – 3 hours past the breathtaking La Soufrière volcano to Admiralty Bay, Bequia.

This old-school Caribbean vestige is an island without traffic or shopping malls. And no casinos or mega-resorts. But idyllic beaches tucked away in charming coves. Excellent for snorkelling, diving, and kayaking. Bequia is “The Big Little Island” with so much to do.

Activities

  • Firefly Plantation Tour – Still a working sugar cane plantation. A historic 280-year-old sugar mill. Truly a fun experience to crush your sugar cane to make juice.
  • Fort Hamilton – Explore this 18th-century fort. The cannons are indeed authentic relics of that period. Additionally, the view from here over Admiralty Bay towards Port Elizabeth is breathtaking.
  • Princess Margaret Beach – Bequia’s most beautiful beach. Pristine white sand and crystal-clear water are waiting for you. Therefore perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
  • Diving – About 30 dive sites around Bequia. As well as several wrecks, shallow caverns, and holes.
  • Windsurfing – Industry Bay. An excellent location for beginners.
  • Shopping in Port Elizabeth – Bequia’s capital is small but big on charm. A quaint waterfront is lined with craft shops and galleries. Make sure to specifically bring home some handcrafted wooden boats.

This island is home to one of the world’s most glamorous resorts, without casinos and super-sized hotels. A sophisticated and wealthy clientele is attracted to this paparazzi-free refuge. When you arrive on your chartered yacht, you will feel like royalty on Mustique. This island’s prominent guests could be anybody from Paul McCartney to the Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge with their children. As well as Johnny Depp and Bill Gates. And finally, you could dance next to them at Basil’s tonight.

  • Ocean Kayaking – Ask the crew of your yacht to lower the kayaks into the turquoise waters and explore the lagoon.

The chef might prepare the freshest, best lobster you have ever tasted tonight.

Day 4 Tobago Cays to Mayreau

You might not want to ever leave the Tobago Cays. If you would like to, after breakfast, swim or snorkel more in the fantastic, inviting crystal clear waters. Then the captain will sail your chartered yacht, less than an hour, to the smallest inhabited island in the Grenadines, Mayreau.

  • Watch humpback whales migrate – In late spring. Scuba divers can hear their songs from a great distance.
  • Rum Shops – Since Carriacou has over 100 rum shops and only one gas station, you must buy a bottle of Grenadian rum here.

After a very active day on Carriacou, you savor dinner onboard your yacht. Watch a stunning sunset and listen to the soft crashing of the waves in the background.

Day 7 Carriacou to Dragon Bay Grenada | St-Vincent to Grenada Sailing Itinerary

This morning the captain will sail the yacht for about 5 hours to Dragon Bay in Grenada. If conditions allow, have the crew point out “Kick’Em Jenny” to you along the way. This is an active submerged volcano. Buried 591 feet below the water. Unknown until 1939. When it shot steam and debris some 900 feet up into the air, you will reach Grenada’s Dragon Bay at about midday.

Activities

  • Diving – Dragon Bay is a sheltered bay in Grenada’s Marine Protected Area. Ideal for all levels of diversity. A very colorful reef where you will enjoy beautiful sponges and marine life. Particularly a familiar spot for octopuses.
  • Underwater Sculpture Garden – Located in Molinere Bay. A must-do activity. This site includes over 65 sculptures that are located between 7 to 26 feet underwater. Divers and snorkelers can easily see them in the clear water. Constructed out of concrete and steel, they act as artificial reefs. A perfect habitat for marine life and humans to enjoy.
