Sailing Yacht Pacific Wave and the BVI Rotary Club fundraiser is an excellent example of one of the crewed yachts based in the BVI helping the British Virgin Islands. Captain Lynn and Chef Mark raised $1350.00 at a Rotary dinner. The Premier and the Governor of the British Virgin Islands attended the event at Scrub Island. One of the prizes was an auction for a half-day BVI charter on Pacific Wave. Proceeds will go to local charities, including help for persons with functional needs and Autism, as well as projects for Youth Development.
The event is the Rotary Club of Tortola’s signature annual fundraiser. Lynn and Mark said, “we’re delighted to be able to give something back to the people of the BVI as a thank you for letting us live and work on their beautiful islands.”
The sailing yacht Pacific Wave is a beautiful performance sailboat that is a joy to behold. The highly maintained yacht crew provided their guests with luxurious service in elegant surroundings. Pacific Wave is in the Virgin Islands during the winter months and Grenadines for the summer into the fall.
