The Virgin Islands catamaran charter ‘Dolphin Splash’ is a 44′ Fountaine Pajot sailing in the BVI with captain Jason and first mate/chef Kate. We were impressed when we met them at the 2015 BVI Boat Show in Tortola at the beginning of this season. Based on guest comments like this, they’ve continued with that same level of service.

It worried me a little that my family and I were going to have strangers at every meal, but I was surprised (I bet it was their mega yacht experience), that at many meals they were nowhere to be seen, very smart. We all had our family bonding time, then they would magically appear and be serving wine.
The first impression always impacts people the most. My wife and I were happily impressed with a crew in white uniform meeting us. We did not feel they had to wear their uniform, but my wife and I are superbly delighted we did have the best captain and chef team. It was little things they did that impressed my whole family. Kate also told us about some of her latest projects. “We are constantly adding to our ideas and improving our program. We now have little ‘shot glass’ soups as an amuse-bouche before the evening 3-course meal. Each evening for every night of their charter, guests sample a different soup… carrot and ginger with sour cream, chilled beetroot, apple, curried butternut with Parmesan foam, cream of corn with pink peppercorn oil, etc…
We also have perfected our SIGNATURE SPLASH COCKTAIL! A super refreshing gin-based drink with a touch of blue curaçao, loads of freshly squeezed lime, star-shaped ice cubes, and garnish, topped up with tonic water.”

Known as Nature’s Little Secret, the BVI is truly special. Sailing the around the islands either clockwise or anti-clockwise, depending on the weather, is easy.
The sailing time between islands ranges from 45 minutes to at most 3 hours when sailing from Anegada. Moreover, many protected anchorages exist, especially in North Sound, Virgin Gorda.
In addition, the beaches are outstanding, with white sand and clear water. Deadman’s Bay on Peter Island and Savannah Bay on Virgin Gorda are two of our favorites.
Onshore activities range from fun beach bars on Jost Van Dyke to Willy T’s anchored in The Bight on Norman Island. Additionally, you can sample various rums at Cooper Island Beach Club’s Rum Bar or enjoy an ice cream cone.
We recommend chartering for at least 9-nights for a relaxing vacation.
