CKIM Group Inc.

Dear friends of CKIM Group,

On behalf of our CKIM Group Team and our independent affiliates, and out of an abundance of caution, we want to assure you, as valued clients or prospective travelers, that CKIM is closely monitoring the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak and developments. We are in daily communication with airlines, cruise lines, Yacht Charter Companies, and other travel suppliers to ensure we can provide you with the most current information.

Our professional travel advisors are here, as always, to serve your best interests, whatever you decide and to provide you with our best counsel.

Despite these turbulent times, adjusting to confined spaces and limited human interaction, we can cope best by maintaining positive spirits, practicing fearless compassion, and using our imagination to fast forward when this crisis is in our rearview. Nothing can stop us from dreaming, planning and staying connected.

Anticipation is an integral part of our life and trip joy, right? While prudent Coronavirus habits mandate social distancing, looking forward to brighter days enjoying nearby places and distant lands does wonders for our emotional well-being.

Italy sojourn canceled? Whip up some Bolognese, served with a lively Chianti, then transport yourself to a Tuscan trattoria, buon appetito!

Rhine on your mind? Cruise through an online bookstore for topical travel information by Rick Steves or Lonely Planet then gute reise! (have a nice trip!)

Paris en vacances?  Use the interim time to brush up your French on Duolingo or delve into researching quirky places and tours, such as the I Love You Wall, Sewer Museum or Rue Cremieux. Swipe French Cafe radio on Pandora and voila! You’re there.

Need ideas? Don’t despair, mon cher. Ask us for any information to maximize enjoyment pondering a future trip. Or just call to chat, especially if you’re having a bad day. The journey will be sweeter once you land on terra firma or passport stamped.

At this time our goal is to stay calm, follow the CDC and World Health Organisation guidelines, remain healthy, help others who may be less equipped to weather this storm, especially single and elderly neighbors.

Running an errand or dropping off a meal lifts spirits of both givers and receivers. Reaching out by texting, FaceTime or writing a “thinking of you” note offers care and compassion blessings to all.

We have to remind ourselves that this storm will have an end. It’s not eternal exile from normalcy or adventure, just a time out. Let’s plan together, take care of each other – and enjoy the ride to our next destination. Dream-on.

As always, thank you for your confidence and trust, and we look forward to serving you now and in the future.

With warm regards,

Chris & Karin Patrick, O'Donna Black, Sue Murphy, Toby Snyder, Ina Vojvodic, Michael Winter and Betty Sienkiewicz
