Diving: Captain Jacek is an NAUI Dive Master/Master Diver. BCD’s and Regulators can be stored onboard. Tanks cannot be stored on board. They must be rented at a dive location. 2 dives are included for up to 4 certified divers. Anybody that would like to dive and explore the wonderful, colorful and mesmerizing underwater world, must be certified. Guests must show proof that they have been diving within the last 3 years. Or have taken a refresher course.
Captain Jacek, started sailing optimists at age 8. Since his father was in the yacht brokerage industry, his love for sailing started early in life. He has extensive knowledge of the Caribbean, traveling and sailing there for over 10 years. Prior to moving there in 2016. Jacek became a sailing instructor and taught many courses in the Virgin Islands. Also, his outstanding familiarity with the area makes him the perfect guide for your Virgin Island escape. In addition to all his exceptional sailing skills, and being PADI certified, he speaks English, Polish, and Spanish.
Chef and Hostess Maya grew up in the Mediterranean. This has certainly been the foundation for her love of the sea and great cuisine. After living 14 years in Utah, she pursued her dream and moved to the US Virgin Islands in 2014. Maya has been working as a yacht chef ever since. She seeks out the freshest ingredients from regional farmers and fishermen. Her meals always contain fresh, seasonal, local, and sustainable products whenever possible. In fact, Maya can provide gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian cuisine. This chef received the best Stoli cocktail award in the 2018 USVI VIPCA Charter Show. For this reason, rest assured, the meals and cocktails on Santa Ana will exceed your expectations.
To round out the incredible experience on this catamaran, Maya is PADI and STCW certified and speaks English, French, and Arabic.
Virgin Island Catamaran Santa Ana interior is hypoallergenic. Jacek and Maya take pride in being environmentally friendly. Consequently, they only use laundry and cleaning products that are dye-free and unscented. To specifically help guests with allergies and sensitivities, all soaps and shampoos on board are fragrance-free as well. Besides that, a water maker supplies drinking water, and reusable bottles will be offered for all guests.
SANTA ANA has new lithium batteries, which when fully charged during the day are able to power the guest cabins all night. This means the generator is unnecessary for air-conditioned comfort and a quiet night for your guests as well as a minimal carbon footprint for the yacht.
